Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Diogo is an author, editor, and English teacher. He’s been teaching for almost twenty years and, once in a while, dares to translate stories from English to Portuguese. Diogo also narrates stories, which have appeared in PodCastle, Pseudopod, Escape Pod, and Apex Magazine. Together with Jana Bianchi, he runs the Fantástico Guia, an initiative that supports Brazilian speculative fiction writers who are writing and submitting their work both in English and Portuguese.
